I have tried to figure out what the word press/ blog thing is and what it is good for…what’s your main motivation? Is it a journal shared with the public, can it be like my weekly emails? What do you think buddy?
Benny, I actually started with an email chain and people continued to forward it on to friends until finally someone just suggested doing a blog. The benefit about a blog is it has a much more broad reach and you can reach your already exisiting email chain by having them just subscribe to your blog. Honestly i have had a blast with it and knowing that almost 40,000 unique visitors have visited the page is pretty cool, let alone the repeat visitors that are regulars. I think your email chain could make an easy transition to a blog and allow more people to see it which i think would be great.
